Automotive News (AutoNews.com) recently published a feature article about BMW’s Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, which was established as the first North American plant for the German automaker 25 years ago. Today, Spartanburg is home to the company’s largest assembly operation in the world – having produced over 400,00 vehicles last year.
