Workplace Culture

Melissa: As one of SAY’s newer employees, I was immediately welcomed as part of the team. My experience in the industry was celebrated by my colleagues and can continue to be of value to our customers. SAY clearly understands that a team who is aligned in their working practices and values will have an impact that reaches far beyond our own walls to each and every customer. 

Seth: SAY Plastics has a very ‘town hall’ focused approach when it comes to working together. We make sure every voice is heard when working on new designs, including operator input, to ensure that each aspect of a customer’s project is carefully evaluated and effectively managed. 

Suzann: At SAY, collaboration is at the core of everything we do. Our team is built on mutual respect, open communication and a shared commitment to customer satisfaction – which at the end of the day drives customer success.

The Role of Technology

Suzann: Technology plays a pivotal role in customer success. We utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance our manufacturing process, optimize efficiency and ensure precision in every product we create. We’re constantly evolving and investing in technology to stay ahead of industry trends. This not only boosts our internal efficiency but also enables us to offer our customers innovative solutions that meet their and their customers’ needs.

Melissa: In my short time here, I can clearly see that this team likes to challenge the status quo and always strives to learn, train and develop beyond our customers’ expectations – offering new ideas and innovative technologies that ultimately elevates our customers’ success.

Seth: To keep ahead of the curve, we are continuously evolving and using the latest technology to produce the best results, whether it is 3D printing, robotic CNC trimming, or CMM scanning.

Commitment to Quality

Seth: SAY’s ISO 9001:2015 certification holds us accountable every day. Having this quality management system encourages us to always do better and have good document practices. Without it, our ability to design and produce quality thermoforming solutions wouldn’t be possible.

Suzann: At SAY Plastics, our commitment to quality is demonstrated by our ISO certification, which is pivotal for operating in the various industries we serve. It shapes our processes and daily decision-making – and ensures that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards.

Melissa: For me, our commitment to quality is seen through our MRP system and the strategic investment SAY continually makes in its usage. Where many companies can get bogged down and hindered by their systems, being an ISO-certified company that’s committed to seeing increased efficiency and a reduction of waste will not only benefit our organization but our suppliers and customers alike.

The Importance of Innovation

Melissa: Innovation allows for adaptability and growth which I think is very important here at SAY. There are many companies that offer similar processes, but being innovative is what allows SAY Plastics to grow and prosper. The secret is to have a problem-solving mindset and always be willing to improve.

Suzann: We understand that the plastics industry is constantly evolving and to stay ahead we must innovate continuously. Our collaboration initiatives have fostered a commitment to developing new methods and processes as well as utilizing cutting-edge products and services.

Seth: Innovation is a large part of customer success at SAY. We are not afraid to make mistakes and continually innovate. We understand that innovation is our best teacher when it comes to perfecting our process.

A Focus on Customer Service

Seth: Our customers understand that we will provide the best service we can – and if there is ever an issue, we will work to fix it. We understand that our name as a company is dependent on our quality.

Melissa: Our customers certainly appreciate our dedication to quick and authentic responses.  While we may not always have the exact answer they want, they know we have reviewed every option and are providing the best solution possible. This builds a true and sustainable relationship with our customers.
